1. DELIVERY SERVICE

Jaan’s Cafe operates as a cloud kitchen and currently provides delivery services only. We do not offer dine-in facilities.

Orders may be delivered through:

  • Authorized third-party delivery partners; or
  • Online food delivery platforms.

Delivery availability depends on your location and our operating hours.

2. DELIVERY AREAS

We currently deliver to selected areas within Islamabad.

Delivery coverage may change from time to time based on operational capacity, weather conditions, traffic, or safety considerations.

Jaan’s Cafe reserves the right to refuse delivery to locations outside our service area.

3. DELIVERY HOURS

Orders are delivered during our published business hours.

Current operating hours are available on our website and official social media pages.

4. DELIVERY CHARGES

Delivery charges, if applicable, will be clearly displayed before you confirm your order.

Charges may vary depending on:

  • Delivery distance;
  • Order value;
  • Third-party platform pricing.

Any applicable delivery fee is non-refundable once delivery has been attempted.

5. ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIME

Estimated delivery times are provided for convenience only.

Typical delivery time ranges between 30 to 60 minutes, depending on your location and order volume.

Actual delivery times may vary due to:

  • Traffic conditions;
  • Weather;
  • Road closures;
  • Peak meal hours;
  • Public holidays;
  • Security restrictions;
  • Events beyond our reasonable control.

While we make every effort to deliver within the estimated timeframe, delivery times are not guaranteed.

6. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

Customers are responsible for providing:

  • A complete and accurate delivery address;
  • A valid contact number;
  • Any necessary landmarks or delivery instructions.

If our delivery partner is unable to contact the customer or complete delivery due to incorrect information, the order may be cancelled without refund where food has already been prepared.

7. FAILED DELIVERY ATTEMPTS

Our delivery personnel will make reasonable efforts to complete delivery.

If the customer:

  • Cannot be reached;
  • Provides an incorrect address; or
  • Is unavailable at the delivery location,

Jaan’s Cafe reserves the right to cancel the order.

Prepared food cannot be returned or resold for health and safety reasons.

8. FOOD QUALITY

Every order is freshly prepared before dispatch.

Food quality is best enjoyed immediately after delivery.

Jaan’s Cafe cannot guarantee food quality if:

  • The customer delays accepting delivery;
  • The food is stored improperly after delivery;
  • Delivery is significantly delayed due to customer-related reasons.

9. DELIVERY DELAYS

Although we strive to deliver every order promptly, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

  • Severe weather;
  • Traffic congestion;
  • Vehicle breakdowns;
  • Public demonstrations;
  • Government restrictions;
  • High order volumes.

Jaan’s Cafe shall not be liable for delays caused by such circumstances.

10. ORDER TRACKING

Where supported by the ordering platform, customers may receive order status updates through SMS, email, WhatsApp, or the respective delivery application.

Availability of tracking features may vary depending on the platform used to place the order.

11. FOOD HANDLING & CONSUMPTION RESPONSIBILITY

Jaan’s Cafe prepares, packages, and dispatches all food products in accordance with reasonable food safety and hygiene standards. Once an order has been successfully delivered or collected, the responsibility for the proper handling, storage, reheating, and consumption of the food transfers to the customer.

Jaan’s Cafe shall not be liable for any illness, foodborne contamination, or adverse health effects resulting from the customer’s failure to properly handle or store food after delivery, including but not limited to:

  • Delayed consumption beyond a reasonable time after delivery;
  • Improper refrigeration or storage;
  • Reheating food incorrectly or to an unsafe temperature;
  • Exposure of food to unsanitary conditions;
  • Consumption of food after prolonged periods at room temperature;
  • Mishandling by the customer or any third party after delivery.

Customers are advised to consume food promptly upon delivery or refrigerate it immediately if it is not intended for immediate consumption. Food should be reheated thoroughly before consumption where appropriate.

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits Jaan’s Cafe’s responsibility for food safety issues arising directly from our own negligence or failure to comply with applicable food safety laws. This provision applies only to issues arising after the order has been delivered or collected.
